DETAILED ITINERARY
We will collect you up from your hotel at 8 a.m. to begin the Tour Maras Moray Chinchero. The journey is thereafter around 1 hour and 20 minutes long and breathtaking. You will travel through the snow-capped peaks of the Andes, rich golden wheat fields, and communities.
Ultimately, you will come at the spectacular terrace show in Moray. The Incas built three amphitheater-like terraces in Moray. As a result, these terraces are dug deep into the soil in the shape of a bowl and were considered to be utilized to identify the best growth conditions for crops.
When you’ve finished touring Moray, you’ll travel to the salt mines of Maras, which are around 2 miles distant. This town is well-known as a former salt-producing center going back to pre-Inca times. Almost 3000 salt pools have been cut into the slope and are filled everyday by a little trickle of water.
Chinchero is the last destination. The well-preserved Inca walls of the main plaza, as well as the numerous altars, may be seen here. Following that, we will go to the lovely colonial church, after that, we will return to Cusco City.
